They hit and kick you.

Maths in Term 4

It is the start of a new term-term 4

In maths this week we have been learning about angles, rotation, decimals and 9 times tables. We learnt in angles that a 90 degree turn is a quarter turn anticlockwise or clockwise. We are also finishing of learning about decimals. We learnt a trick for our 9 times tables so we can learn our times tables more easily.

Science Fair/Myths and Legend

For the last three weeks I have been doing a science fair on the beat of the heart. I am presenting it tomorrow to my class. It was fun learning about the BPM's( Beats per minute) of different people.
We also have been reading myths and legends for the last five weeks and we had to make a booklet at home with different activities on different myths and legends. Last week and this week we have been finishing our class myth with our partner. The myth that I wrote was on how the Emu got it's long neck.

My Learning

This week I have improved in my spelling test by one year and one month and in a grand total I am spelling above my age.

We have been doing a art picture on Hundertwasser and it has been interesting how Haundetwasser does not like straight lines and he thinks they are the devils tool.

This week I went down in my basic facts test by seven facts.

Marie Curie.
We have also been talking about bulling. It is really bad.
We have also done two science experiments. They were called Dancing Sultanas and Exploding Canisters.
